From the late 1990s until 2008 I was a regular contributor to OC Weekly, the Orange County sister paper of LA Weekly and The Village Voice.I wrote a weekly film column until 2006, then I wrote weekly reviews of fine art until 2008. I've written various cover stories and literally hundreds of columns covering film, television, books, fine art, travel, music, politics and theater, as well as news stories, personal essays and cultural commentary. My regular column It's a Living, published from 2006-2007, looked at various Southern California people with unusual jobs. I also wrote the copy for the paper's 2007 wedding advertisement insert.
